Biography

Dr. Kang Liang is an Assistant Professor in soil physics and hydrology at the School of Natural Resource Sciences at NDSU. He brings a multidisciplinary perspective to his work. The primary focus of his research is combining field observations, biogeochemical models, remote sensing data, and statistical/machine learning approaches to address issues related to the impacts of changes in climate, land use, and management practices on soil and water quality, hydrological dynamics, and ecosystem health. My primary aspiration lies in the practical application of my expertise and skillset to resolve tangible and real-world issues such as minimizing the environmental impacts of agricultural production.
